Ice, >analysts have power only to the extent people pay attention to them. So getting attention is most likely a primary concern of theirs.< True. Some - like Kurlack - already HAVE attention and can therefore concentrate on analysis. Others may say outrageous things to GET attention. Bottom line: they make and lose us $$$. On the whole I think we're better off. Many people wouldn't be in the stock market without someone telling them when and what to buy or sell. Less demand for stocks = lower valuations. GM
