Hard to say. McCain has the energy and the drive to get things done, even though he is over 70 years old. I think the guy is genuine in his motivations to serve the nation and restore a sense of respect in government.

On the other hand, McCain has a "liberal-lite" stance on many issues, including campaign finance reform and illegal immigration. A lot of his moderate stances are based on pragmatism, but who isn't a pragmatist? There's just no getting around the law of unintended consequences.

My biggest fear with McCain is that he'll give way too many concessions to his liberal buddies in Congress once he's in office. He'll have to convince me that he will hold a VERY hard line against pork barrel projects before I would even consider voting for him.
