you are right. If it werent for my son and some folks on this thread who push me toward obama, i might have voted for her too. I do feel bad for her. She did what was excpected for her (my) generation of women. When i started out women were to be mothers but if they had to work, they could only be teachers, nurses, or secretaries. Anything else was looked down upon. Hillary did what my wife didnt and my wife is equally as smart as hillary---she (H) went to law school, top in the class but deferred to hubby as far as career because this was what was expected. Finally she gets out of his shadow but his shadow grows in proportion to his ego and it outshines her. I predicted this. I always said she should have dumped him for his infidelities right after they left office. How many folks think that she loves him in a way that people do when they are married? So yes i feel bad. Women were and are half the population and my generation of women produced some potential superstars that have lived rather ordinary lives. i dont know if i am exprressing myself well on this. I realized all this when my daughter was born in 72. Myself and i assume men like me said no more of this on the day there daughters were born but i guess its too late for most of my gen.
