I just happened to take a look at the tuition and fees at VT on their website. I nearly fainted.

In-state isn't too bad still, but out-of-state...ouch! I'm dating myself, but my freshman year, my total out-of-state bill (including room and board)for the entire year was $3200. Tuition for out-of-staters back then was double in-staters. Now it's triple.
