The Republicans have always had the secret weapon of the dissension in the Democratic ranks. When the chips are down, the Republicans can always count on the Democrats to squander their chances at winning. So I won't be surprised at all to see Hillary nominated, because the Democratic leadership has always been pretty stupid. However, if they do manage to make the right choice and nominate Obama, then this thing will be a slam dunk. In the latest Time poll, Obama beats McCain by 7%. In the same poll, McCain ties Hillary.
