If Hillary runs it's energizes the Republican base and quiets the Democratic one.

...And if a Dem does win - which, let's face it, is a possibility - I'd rather have the calculating but serious Hill as Prez, rather than a starry eyed charismatic dude with calls for "unity" and "change".... in lieu of having thought through positions.

A Dem friend wrote to me today that Obama has "potential for greatness". I thought to myself - He is right, but they call a leader great when people are trying to make it through times of trouble. Having a "great" leader means that we are living during "interesting times". I'd rather have a mature boring seasoned bureaucrat run the show.
