I studied Soviet economic system a bit, and it did not make
any sense, cause funds got shifted from place to place, then
simply disappeared. It's gonna blow! I thought at the time...
That was in 1986. I have a similar feeling about the Fed
system, even though it lasted longer than the Soviet Union.
Complicated, messy, secretive, centered around the printing
press (of course), printed funds shifted in ways unimaginable,
which usually means they settle down in someone's pockets.
I guess the gold standard in the early days really helped.
We'll be going back that way, the Fed is gonna do self-
destruction. -ggg-
