I think that that would send a BIG signal to the Dems to continue bashing and smashing ..... Those folks hated GWB from day getgo....They really don't care fig about civility, or explaining why they are so wrong, nor do they explain the consequences of what they are doing....if they even know.

I personally think that if a large percentage of Repubs stay home, the Dems will just continue doing what they have been doing. And WE will be the losers. They know we don't "do" demonstrations. They know that we "do nothing" if their leaders talk about the Repubs like trash. They know they can make fun of the Evangels. ETC.

Do we want them to think they won because we all stayed home and were afraid of them???

Go to the polls and write in your choice if you have to, and just hope that enough people actually vote for McCain so we don't have 4 very hard years with Dems in charge.
