Specifically, are you familiar with the AEHR memory system tester being discussed here? AEHR is not trying to revolutionize the burn-in industry. They are trying to sell a product that may make economic sense in one particular application-- the testing of DRAM's. These jelly beans are turned out by the millions and millions by anyone in the business. The AEHR test system will either be cost effective to them or it will not. DRAM manufacturers will not really care what their inventory of text fixtures is if the AEHR system can save them money. There are only a handful of high volume DRAM manufacturers.

Your talk of "connectors" is somewhat confusing. Are you saying thay you have technically studied the AEHR digital interface bus and found it lacking in sophistication? Could you be specific?

Are you familar with DRAM manufacture and test flow? Are you familar with semicondustor (IC) test flows in general?

I agree that it will be difficult to get DRAM manufacturers to switch to a new test flow as the stakes in the DRAM business are very, very high. The evaluation and correllation processes are very tedious.
