Positive Spin (but also most probable) The stated purpose for these preferred is to discourage or stop a hostile takeover attempt. This implies that Americhip's management is worried about it. If management has good reasons to worry about and are not just being paranoid then this is potentially great news for us. This is because, in my opinion, the above would only have a chance of happening if Americhip stock explodes up as big $$$$$ starts rolling in. Here a large company would want to take over Americhip do to the takeover's belief in americhip's potential. This is the only reasonable explanation for the issued preferred. Any other ideas welcome.
