Insiders must have a lot of money or only be focused <gasp> on the long term. Personally, I love that real "bullish" spike there in October... which marked the market top!!! And that ratio has been "bullish" basically from 1550 SPX at the start of November right on down to 1270 SPX. Plus the were bullish last July and August where, supposedly in hindsight, they shoulda 'known' we were heading into a recession.

In other words, showing that chart without matching years of it up to the market action seems like there's absolutely no way to determine what it means. I'd think it's a 6 month to 1 year out type of indicator at best. Pretty graph, though :-)
