Nah, even in the West Village (which is the most expensive area of the City right now) and where I plan to live, I can get 1,000 square feet for that.

But that still sucks. 1,000 square feet is perfect for me (I have 2,000 sq ft right now and it's a hell of a lot for one person), but $3,500 a month is pretty damn steep. But no way am I doing a 40 minute commute each way every day.

Well, at least you can give up your car and car insurance......that should save you some.
