The Bush healthcare system ranks #31 in the world and by far the most expensive and wasteful in world history. In fact it is about ten times as expensive as your average country.

I just returned from Asia and decided to have some dental work done. The office was brand spanking new and high-tech. I walked in without an appointment and was seated immediately. 30 minutes later I walked out with three fillings for $60. The aame would cost me $900 and a week's wait in the US. It would be the same if I had a medical problem to attend to.

The big difference of the profiteering of our medical system, from doctors who feel entitled to make $750,000 per year to big Pharmas which charge 1000% more than they do anyone else to HMO's which give their CEO's 1.5 billion dollar packages. This is the problem. It's simple math. You should do it sometimes.

If you want to give 50% of your health care dollars tom profiteers then vote Republican. If you want to give them only a fair 15% or so, then vote Democratic. It could actually save your life.
