Here's how McCain could be a savior in disguise:

It's possible the Dem party could implode with their strongly contested primary. Then disgusted Indes/liberals would gravitate to their friend John McCain. Repub grassroots voters should adamantly warn their local & congressional politicians that they'll automatically vote them out of office IF McCain renegs on his border security promises as Pres. As a result, the Repub office-holders will keep him honest on the issue to protect their political future. There's nothing more determined than politicians trying to win re-election.
