What did we heard from Intel/STM? Nearly nothing.
To say it politely, when you have something new and big on
your hand, I would guess, that you want to show this around.
Seems like this isn't the case here. So, what does this tell
me. Floating gate which Intel/STM are using is stalled, they
are doing some stuff at the 65nm, but nothing is known about
future nodes like 32/45nm. Seems like the path is still unknown.


Now this is not exactly the truth, is it?

Intel actually did report, at ISSCC 2008, the development of 1Gb 45nm NOR with Write speeds of 5MB/s and a die size 50% smaller than what they have at the present time.
