GHW Bush and Reagan were much more honest than Bush-Cheney. That is obvious. They came from an era where you did not abuse power too much in terms of helping your corporate pals rape the public.

GHW Bush set an example for his son though by joining Chevron and Carlyle Group after leaving office and making many millions as their front man for international deals, mainly in oil and gasp, including quite a few with the Bin Laden family. GHW Bush was a regular passenger on the Bin Laden family jet in the 90's and was actually meeting with a Bin Laden brother at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City on 9-11-01.

Depite GHW Bush's blatant cashing in, he never came close to the kind of Enron-Cheney-Halliburton rigging of insider deals.

GW Bush has a history of dishonesty going back to his Harken Energy when he cheated a young investor named Groeg Soros out of $800,000 by selling him his stick after he got inside information that the company was about to report deep losses.
