Obama is proving unstoppable. He just won Maine, so that's four in a row and will win three on Tuesday. By next week he will lead Hillary on delegates. She has a chance in OH, PA and TX, but Obama's mementum and vastly superior fundraising is ushering out the old and in with the new. Voter turnout among Dems is also more than double that of Repubs, which sets the stage for a landslide in November.
In 2008, people in general want CHANGE-CHANGE-CHANGE away from the Bush-Cheney-DElay policies and corruption. They also want us out of Iraq, want the middleclass taken care of, want the rich and corporations to pay their fair share and want universal health care and clean fuels. All this Obama can deliver, and Obama will also bring some 10,000,000 new voters into the process during a year when the GOP is lost, sick to their stomachs, guilty, in denial and confused. And the names Bush-cheney are like poison.
McCain is a poor candidate. He is old, boring and doesn't have anyone excited about him except maybe a few old-timers. He admits he knows nothing about the economy and his only issue is continuing the debacle in Iraq, which very few people want. He is also an enemy of the religious right and corrupt rightwing corporate "greed is good" type insiders. |
