Several of those conclusions are false:

"The pharmaceutical industry has provided invaluable medicines to cure and relieve millions of patients throughout the world. "

When leading up to false or misleading conclusions it is always best to start with a truth.

"As an industry, it drives economic growth and employs thousands of skilled people."

When leading up to false or misleading conclusions it is always best to start with a truth or two.

"But it also uses false economics and makes up stories to justify higher prices."

Huh, prices are set by supply and demand in countries with free markets. Often in the US, the foreign free riders force the seller to demand higher profits from Americans.

"Higher prices strain budgets, causing millions of US patients not to take the drugs their doctors think necessary."

Interesting half truth. Is the conclusion supposed to be read like this: "If profits were globally derived American consumers would be healthier."

"The pharmaceutical industry and the US government want to blame other developed countries for these higher prices rather than make drugs more affordable."

They don't want to, they are merely pointing out fact. Many countries will steal the intellectual property rights of drug companies and the World Trade Organization refuses to do anything to stop the flagrant violation of trade agreements.
