McNamee says he injected Clemens "more than a dozen times with human growth hormone and steroids in 1998, 2000 and 2001." That amounts to 4-5 times per year. Has anyone seen any data about how many times a year (or season) is the "proper" dose for steroids to be effective? Once a month? Once a week?

If Clemens continued using steroids in 2002+, can you imagine the pressure on said supplier to keep quiet... or not? Did I miss where Mitchell et al warned this guy they were looking for him and if/when they found him they'd put him away for life, so might as well volunteer yourself now?
