Which ironically might be the dynamic that actually kicks a major support out from under the oil market by closing the bulk of the shorts out for good -- IMO it's too early to call yet

OTOH, and peak oil debate aside, if Chindia stays robust and they choose (and can afford) to pay $200 a barrel, then US citizens are in for a world of hurt as stateside energy (and food) costs explode just as the economy tanks

This oogly scenario has been predicted by many for some time now, and it seems that we are inching closer to the reality every day
