I made some mistakes....

I put money in trust for her years ago for college....she won't have to work her way through or face any financial pain of repaying student loans...

I was also stoopid enough to tell her the money existed 2 years before she gets out of high school.....so.....she became lax as she didn't need to try to qualify for scholarships in music or sports.....

So, when she turned 18 she got the cash....hasn't spent a dime as yet....except for the pissin' and moaning about needing a car.....so we got her a car with some of it.....an 8 year old MB 320 for 9K$.....sometimes she lets me drive it.....hahahhaa! At least she's safe in it.

I didn't force her to try to hit a 4.0 GPA.....even though she has the IQ.....I settled for honors...and she settled for missing honors every so often.....

On the other hand.....you'd be proud to know her. She's 1st class as a person, has worth ethic and if you need her...she'll be there.......that is...she'll be there for you ....not me....OK that's not completely true.

In short....she's me......grrrrrrrr.....when I was a kid.....I was hoping she'd be more like her mother.

Time will tell.
