I never said McCain wasn't a citizen, the material I read said he wasn't
a natural born citizen ie, born in the USA. Schwartznegger is a citizen,
but cannot be president because he was born in Austria, not in the USA.
McCain, I understand, was born on a base in Panama, and therefore, not a natural born citizen. Barry Goldwater was born in the Arizona territory two years it became a state, and therefore, he could not have been president either.
"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."
I was merely asking others on this forum whether they had heard this.
Now, it was a "nice try" on my part to do WHAT? Are you suggesting I'm
doing something dishonest or underhanded?
