I have to blame my daughter for my granddaughter's behavior. She's the one who never taught them to say "thank you". Daughter wasn't raised that way, I can tell you for sure. My wife made sure the kids called or sent thank you notes, even when they were in their teens. I suppose daughter is just too busy with all the demands on her to pay attention to this small detail.
