I see you mention self esteem, that is commendable, something that is lacking in the young woman in the video (which is to be partly accepted because she is young.)

She is uninsured and lands in the hospital for care a few times. When asked how much the bill was, she had forgotten, and she never paid it, and millions of back riders like her, sooner spend thousands per year going out to eat.

Well the question remains, as always, who picks up the tab for the free loaders? The insured (suckers???)with self esteem or the tax payers?Probably both eh.

I had a discussion a few years back with a Canadian who was very unsatisfied with our system which is funded BUY ALL through the tax system and small yearly fees geared to income, by province.

He wants to opt out, have taxes and provincial fees removed from him..special guy status lol...everyone else is expected to pay to keep the system running, so it will be there for this "cash customer" large ego IF he needs it.Ya right.

IF that video was shown to millions of insured, the result would probably be millions more would be uninsured.

Not paying their way is a good gig if they are allowed to get away with it.It is the human way.
