Yes, but my email clearly outlined how we can get back to a budget surplus. I'll restate here to make it unambiguous. Annual cost savings from actions we can take right now:

End Iraq war = $200B
Go back to year 2000 military budget = $215B ($527B down to $312B from infoplease.com
Raise taxes on top 1% = $200B

Total Cost Savings = $615B

Budget 2007 defict = $550B (increase to National Debt treasurydirect.gov

Savings - Deficit = $615B - $550B =
$65B surplus

If you wanted to do even more good for this country, we could invest that surplus in oil independence and close out our trade deficit as well.
