I agree with what you say. Where you and I part a little is that I will vote McCain in the fall. I think there are some things he's making a mistake on and there are other parts of the platform I think need to be abandoned. I'm going to probably take some abuse for this but I want all religion out of politics. Right or wrong the President has to make some very ungodly decisions and I'm sick and tired of people invoking the name of God in support of their party. Damn - there just aren't any easy answers. I really wish McCain could speak with the authenticity of Huckabee. Subtract the religion and I think we'd have a winner. I believe in God but I don't think God wants to be part of our f*cked up political system. Besides - the word of God is divine but his institutions are run by sinners just like you and I.
