MD/ATI starting to pay off. amd.com blogs.cnet.com me: Graphics is going to be a big part of future cell phones/handsets. From my point of view it seems like the world is quickly moving towards a single standard for mobile communications. Whether that standard will be LTE/WiMax or something else remains to be seen, but having a universal communicator that works anywhere in the world has got to have a lot of appeal for a number of reasons. In any case to be useful these smallish mobile devices are going to have to provide crystal clear visibility. It seems like AMD/ATI has a big leap on most every one else in this area. NVDA seems to be a little late to the party and INTC is way back in the pack. This could be very big for AMD going forward.
