Hi Emile

As I quote your source on the Westell thread I noticed that he's saying GTE won't offer service to the public until 1Q 98. So, the question is no longer an if-which should be viewed as a positive. Won't the necessary equipment have to be purchased and in place prior to roll out? In my opinion this is a time to buy not sell. The price activity we're witnessing is on pathetically weak volume and more a result of arbitrage between the two merger partners than any significant sellers. I suspect we'll be seeing a dramatic rise in WSTL upon completion of the deal as the ARBS rush back in to cover their short WSTL positions. By the way, does anybody out there have access to any (UP TO DATE)short interest on WSTL? This could tell us a lot.

Thanks

Schmedley
