I state the obvious: Tax and spend is NOT fiscal conservatism.

The "obvious" is that that is was the government does... "tax and spend".
The second "obvious" is that if they spend more than they tax, then that is "NOT fiscal conservatism."
The third "obvious" is that the issue to each side is WHAT the government spends it's money on, not how much it spends. All the "conservative" Rep candidated wanted to increase military spending... as last man standing McCain does.

So what's really obvious is this 'holier than thou' Republican "fiscal conservatism" is a boatload of crap. They just want to spend more on THEIR stuff, which should be obvious after the last 7 years.
