Personally I don't see why we should have a congressional hearing.

If its illegal (and apparently it is) and you back the law, call for an investigation of the crime by law enforcement officials.

If its illegal and you don't back the law, call for the law to be changed.

If its against the rules in Baseball (it is, at least now) and it can be shown that Clemens violated the rules, than have MLB give him the punishment called for under the rules.

If the concern is just the thought that its a horrible thing, than bash him (if you wish) for doing something you see as horrible.

But why does congress have to get involved (other than passing the initial law controlling steroids)?
