Basicalllllly then, McCain can't vote for or against torture because that is not the question. The question is about what qualifies as torture and what does not. When you quit entangling legal terms with things that don't apply this discussion becomes quite simple. Is waterboarding torture? In the legal sense the justice system decides, not you. In the moral sense you have long ago disqualified your opinion. Your whole McCain rant is an irrelevant tangent.
