If that's so, then we have no basis for any meaningful dialogue on this subject. The Beatles were a monumentally important part of my life starting at around age ten. To this day, I consider them one of the greatest bands ever, and certainly one of the most important. They not only changed popular music completely, but did so more than once.

I will, henceforth, consider all opinions you may have about music to be suspect. I can still like you as a friend, but only because I'm so forgiving and spiritually evolved. ;-)

PS: Come to think of it, if you like the songs themselves, then I guess you aren't completely hopeless. Recognizing The Beatles' songwriting talent is something.

PPS: I hated Moulin Rouge, too. ;-)
