I'm not trying to be a PITA but at the end of the day it all falls in the lenders lap. People can blame whoever they wish but there'd be no blame game if the banks hadn't dropped their pants for anyone who applied for a loan. I hope they made a lot of money because the regulation thats going to come from this will be amazing. Banks are there to oversee the loan process - not overlook it! This is a banking issue and some people should do some jail time for the economic peril they placed us in
