It is fun to watch them with their own kids, for sure! I've noticed the same things.... <ggg> There really is justice! But by in large, we were lucky...the kids were fun, and thank heavens we really only remember most of the fun days. Have loved being a grandparent as well, although we still don't get to see the kids anywhere near enough for me. Every is always so busy. For the kids who live here, I told their father to be sure and let us know ahead which kid is playing what sport and shere...or if they are in plays, etc. He sometimes forgets, but is getting better. Only problem is, now their youngest is a Jr in HS....the other two are in college. One of those is a Freshman, and is on the varsity Lacrosse team, so hopefully we'll get to see at least one of those games.
If divorce had been a serious option, we might have not been married this long. BUT as it turns out, we would both have really regretted any move in that direction. We've both had to learn that "we" are not always right. He still needs lessons....HEHEHEHEHHEh |
