Someone posted the info below, I have not seen anything that would rule out DMT current ANSI/ETSI standard. Beware of people posting with ulterior motives.

I'm sure the person was referring to the following, which was in the today's PC Week article posted in the Story Stock thread.

* Analog Devices Inc. will unveil this week its second-generation ADSL
chip sets at approximately one-third the cost of its AD6333 chip, said sources familiar with the Norwood, Mass., company's plans.

The person did not bother to call ADI, and ask if the 2nd Generation was ANSI compliant, prior to the post.

Replace the C word for ANSI
