Depends on the number of Medicare people in the area....with high numbers, MD's cannot afford to turn them away.... How many MD's in Florida accept Medicare do you think? Btw, there are 3 types Medicare memberships a doctor can choose to belong plus opting out altogether. Some can legally charge more of the patient than Medicare will pay.
