I agree that there will be a longlasting "hangover" from the Bush years, but at least a new Administration can start to enact policies that begin to get us back on the right course.

It's been very trying for me to see surpluses become record deficits with no relief in sight.

It's been very trying for me to see the U.S. Dollar become the currency that no one wants to hold for an extended period. (Even Super Models)

It's been very trying for me to see the U.S. go into a War for no good reason and then see that War's handling so botched that we will end up spending a Trillion on it and probably still end up in a worse geo-political situation than we were in before we ever went in.

It's very trying for me to see this sub-prime mess and know that there were State and City Governments that were warning about it and trying to stop the predatory lending practices that caused it....only to be fought to a standstill by THIS Administration.

The list goes ON and ON.

So....even though things may not get 'immediately' better in the future...at least one can HOPE that we get an Administration that will try to make things better in the future rather than worse.
