You're kidding, right? What do you think this is, the old communist Soviet Union? When supply gets dried up, prices will go up for a short time until Intel ramps capacity to meet demand. This year, they'll have a sizable 45nm supply, and still several 65nm fabs that can supplement it, easily meeting 100% of the market's needs. Any price fluctuations would be quite temporary, as they have been historically in most cases where demand has outstripped supply by a sufficient amount.
