Analysts are one thing, its probably true, that most of these
guys don't know the key details for that business, which are
(sadly) much more hard to come by compared to DRAM as one
example. NOR is very hidden in all kind of aspects. Thats
imho also one reason, why the market doesn't value some thing
for SPSN here.
SPSN isn't the only company here, but what really surprises
me these days is, that the high-officials don't buy shares.
I haven't looked, what Bertrand as one example earns per
year, but if he believes long-term in Spansion, I would
assume, that he will buy 100k shares or even more. Why not
buy for 500K USD? You could say, that these guys get enough
shares via options for free, which is true too, but it would
be a nice "have". Too sad, this could be seen at other semis
too - means, no big insider-buyers these days.
