So if Jesus didn't explicitly address a topic, you can ascribe liberal beliefs to him?

Jesus seemed to revere the Jewish scriptures, read them in a synagogue on at least one occasion, talked about prophets etc. Accordingly one would think he probably agreed with the outlook of said scriptures on those things. He certainly didn't repudiate the then-existing scriptures.
