Bryan/College Station. I was surprised to find that our house is up about 25% over where we bought it. I suspect that the figures there aren't real accurate, it is pretty rare for a house to come on the market in my neighborhood.

Like I said in another post, a local paper found Zillows to be fairly accurate. Not dead on but very close. The figure for my zip code is very right on. BTW how big is your zip code? Your immediate neighborhood may have little activity but within the zip code there may be enough activity to get a fairly accurate median. I know people have a negative opinion of agents pricing houses but I have found its more a science than an art if done right.

Frankly it amazes me how cheap housing is in TX even with all the land.......I would understand if there was no growth but most metro areas of TX are growing pretty fast. I suspect you all will be playing catch up over the next few years.
