Jesus was a HUGE liberal, the original one. All his teachings were extremely liberal, even a benign form of communism, that is sharing and sharing alike and forcing the rich to give everything to the poor. Jesus hated the rich. He stated it was impossible for any of them to ever get to heaven unless they gave away everything and washed the feet of lepers, etc. It was radical stuff. Jesus also stood up to the Roman imperialists who were the version of the Bushies 2000 years ago. The invaders and occupiers. Jesus also never said anything about dissing sexual freedom. Never. He was not a prude. He was just above sex. he was a holy man. An ascetic. But his best pal was a prostitute and his posse were a rough and tumble gang of workingclass types. They didn't like the Jewish elite, the profiteers of religion or the Roman military imperialists. They cared about The People. Especially the poor and downtrodden.
