Kurt: First off, my cyber greetings to your 79 year old father. I'd suggest that you wait until November and then go check out the new model WebTV. Yeah, yeah, I know that MSFT bought them. But I think that it may be just what he needs - and it's an.......NC!!! The new unit has a printer port. I have reason to believe that Lotus and a ton of ISPs are going to be bringing your Dad Java-based word processing programs in the near future. Right on his WebTV. And it is one heck of a lot Easier to Use (not to mention cheaper) than a personal computer.
