" The only question is the exact numbers, but obviously "47 million uninsured" includes many people that could easily get insurance"

I love that phrase, "could easily get insurance"... And the cute stat that 50,000 is above the national median. The median is 40,000. Would you like to insure a family of 4 on a 50,000 income? Have any idea of the cost of that insurance? More than 73,000,000 people are below the poverty level....also from the census bureau which Manikew (Bush's advisor) doesn't mention. Incidentally, all your links are of Manikew......nice research job...

"About a quarter of the uninsured have been offered employer-provided insurance but declined coverage."

According to Literacy Volunteers of American, 30-35% of the nation are functional illiterates.... I didn't see any supporting data for that statement from Manikew either.

I quit for the night but in the meantime, here's something for you to study....
