why would anyone want to pay aarp membership fee unless they provide you a service? i haven't ever found anything they offer that cannot be matched or found cheaper elsewhere. Imo they are self serving profitable corp listed as non profitable yet build a huge new building and pay themselves nice salaries. Just another group that congress should look into taxing but they are one of the largest lobbies in congress so i doubt those getting contributions from aarp would ever think of taxing them.
