Christ would have taxed the rich 99% and given it all to the poor. ABsolutely. Christ made it very clear you basically were not ALLOWED to be rich if you ever wanted to get into heaven. He said is clearly, and the religious right has had a very hard time spinning this. When Christ said rich people have as much chance of getting into heaven as a camel through a needle's eye, Jim Bakker and other so-called "Christians" couldn't handle it so they made up a lie that in old Palestine there was a gate leading into the city called "the needle's eye". In fact, no such gate ever existed. It was all a total fabrication. Just like so many other rightwing fabrications; Saddam's nuclear program, Kerry and McCain's "cowardice" in battle, GW Bush's "service to his country", lowering taxes on the rich creating more revenues, and just yesterday Bush telling us that if we don't give him unlimited rights to wiretap us without warrants "terrorists will attack".
