OT Q on bay area and earthquakes. My kid has moved to SF and is thinking of buying a condo unit. I know that some of you live in the area. Do you buy earthquake ins or take your chances? Are the codes strict enuf that the odds of losing your investment are low? You must expect some shaking from time to time but it seems like I don't hear much about how the risk is handled. TIA for any counsel...
