All politicians by nature require a "trust but verify" attitude from voters. Many Repubs are not thrilled with McCain, however must admit afterall that he's more trustworthy than Obama or Hillary. Sen McCain will not grab defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq as both Dem candidates have promised to do. If voters hold their congressional Repubs accountable for McCain's border security promises, we could get positive results on both those crucial issues. The senator needs an "Obama Platitudes" music video to compete with BO's current craze. Not having any evangelical roots whatsoever, the "yes we can" robotic chant sounds & looks like a puppetmaster with his hollow props.
