Even MORE surprising is #6 Bill Clinton. IMHO he will go down as one of the more corrupt Presidents we have had. Also, I would have put George Washington first and Lincoln second. Reason is Washington COULD HAVE if he had been of a mind too, could have become a lifelong president vastly changing how our Republic evolved Plus of course he led the Revolutionary Army which provided our Independence to begin with. Lincoln is also of great importance since his perseverance led to preserving the Union whereas a lesser leader may have done otherwise. jdn
