Wrong. Your argument is similar to the old French statement that everyone is equal, neither the poor nor the rich are allowed to sleep under bridges. Or, the joke we progressives used to tell about the ultimate regressive, Barry Goldwater. Barry always believed that the poor were simply underachievers. They should have had their grandfather establish a department store in Arizona. <G>

Marx was correct: To each according to his need, from each according to his ability. If you don't tax more those with a much greater ability to pay, you disadvantage those with a greater need. And, even worse, is the Republican "grasshopper" style, where we cut taxes for the wealthy now and build up more debt for other generations to pay off. That is totally cynical and morally corrupt.
